A few years ago me and my partner Catherine accepted a job in yan’an China. We lived and worked there as English teachers for one year. I tried to keep a simple chronicle of events. I have decided to post them here as a sort of memory indulgence.

This came about as I was going through my computer and realised that I had thousands of photo’s sitting on my hard drive from various points in my life that I have never shared and never noted much down for.

This is (hopefully) the start of me attempting to get some of my past into a more perminate form than my error prone brain before I lose any more of it.
